About the Photographer

Delilah Twersky is a fine arts photographer who focuses on documentary work and personal projects. She works primarily with film (medium format) and develops, scans and prints her own work. Delilah photographs her family life and romantic relationships to show their differences and expectations. She also loves to work with other art elements such as video work and creative writing. Delilah showed her first exhibition in March of 2018 at the Pratt Photography Gallery. “And then there was, in this created being, the autonomous woman” stems from her self-realization of dependence. This work explores her sexuality, her upbringing and her stride toward independence. A portion of the work is a booklet of short stories and poetry that she had written over the period of a year. Delilah currently resides in Brooklyn, New York and is continuing this body of work along with a few others that grew out of her first exhibition.
